Dry Run Restoration was founded from firsthand experience, not a business plan.
John and Pryce had been business partners for over 20 years, working together across multiple ventures. That changed one morning when John woke up to find three floors of his home severely flooded. Like many homeowners in crisis, he didn’t know who to call, so he turned to a large national water restoration company.
What followed was months of drying, repairs, delays, confusion, and frustration.
Throughout the process, John saw countless opportunities where the homeowner experience could have been better—clearer communication, more respect for the home, and a greater sense of care during an already stressful time. Instead of accepting that this was “just how restoration works,” John and Pryce took a closer look at the industry and realized something important:
There was a better way to serve homeowners during a water loss.
That realization led to the founding of Dry Run Restoration, LLC.
